Authentication Process
Applying for access to PIAL's data and services is a two step process:
Step 1. Electronic Submission
Access the PIAL website and complete the Request for Access. This can be found on the Log In Screen by clicking the link Need to request an account? Each user will need to submit a separate request. The user's email address will become the ID.
Step 2. Letter on Record
Employees of a PIAL Member Company
A letter with signature and title on the Member Company's letterhead listing the employees names who will be user(s) must be received and on record for PIAL to activate the user.
Employees of an Agency representing a PIAL Member Company
Two letters must be sent and on record for PIAL to activate the user.
- A letter with signature and title on the Agency's letterhead listing the employees names who will be user(s).
- A letter with signature and title on the Member Company's letterhead stating the Agency represents that Member company.

After the necessary letter(s) authenticates your affiliation an email will be sent to notify you.
Terms of Use
Access to PIAL's data and services is limited to licensed Member Companies that do business in Louisiana and their authorized Agents. Member Companies and their authorized Agents agree that their employees shall each have separate authenticity to PIAL's data and services. Sharing authenticity between users is prohibited.
